LAUGHTER IN TIME OF WAR

"I imagine that in a time of stress like this people do break out in laugher. I know that we commonly have nervous laughter in these tense situations. So I'm imaging these people doubling over and it's very easy to make the visual connection to the buildings doubling over. Just to remind the reader that this is a time of war and this isn't just a jello party. Buildings and lives are being lost just outside the security of this little place."
